Individual cremations
Many owners want to give their animal companions the same level of respect in cremation as they would give to a human and our individual cremations service is the ideal way to do that. We guarantee that the cremations really are individual, even for the smallest species of animal, and the ashes returned to you are the ashes of your departed companion.

Equine cremations
Our whole family has been involved with horses for decades and we understand intimately the sense of loss when they pass away. Using a fully fitted vehicle we can collect your horse from your Vetinary Surgery and bring it to the crematorium. Unlike many other crematoriums, we guarantee individual cremations for horses and also ensure that our caskets are large enough to hold all of the ashes from an equine cremation.

Same day cremations
We do not offer a “while you wait” service but during the week can arrange for cremations to be carried out the same day if you contact us prior to leaving your vet. Cremations take several hours and we recommend that after bringing your companion to us and saying goodbye you spend some time in the local town or countryside away from the crematorium to gather your feelings before returning to collect the ashes.

The process of individual cremations
After confirmation of passing away from your veterinarian you can bring your companion to us or arrange for us to collect them. On arrival we will talk through your options and wishes before leaving you to say goodbye in the privacy of our reception rooms one last time. The body is kept respectfully in our chapel of rest prior to cremation, which is guaranteed individual at Cherry Tree, then the ashes can be returned to your Veterinary Surgeon or collected by you later on in the casket of your choice.
