After the vet had put my little Lion King to sleep in my arms I was in a state of total despair. I knew that my baby had suffered enough and was ready for his sleep, but it still did not make the situation any easier to handle.
When I spoke to Mark at Cherry Tree he put me at my ease and treated the conversation more as a sympathetic listener than as someone conducting a business transaction.
The chap who came and collected my little Tonka was also extremely sympathetic and reassuring. I was in no doubt that my big boy was going to be in the safest of hands, and they brought his ashes back to me first thing the next morning as promised.
Thank you Cherry Tree. You help to take some of the heartache out of the very worst of situations.Mark L'estrange
Thank you David Sheila and the team at Cherry Tree for making such a hard sad time a little bit easier for me since losing my little “Big Man” Kippy. For such a little fella he had a huge presence and has left a great big gaping hole in my life. Thank you for the urn and bracelet and scatter box so that now I have him with me all the time, just in a different form. You guys do an amazing job and I cant recommend you enough. With much love and thanks, Jane xxJane Hopkins Today was one of the saddest I’ve had to get through, I lost my collie very suddenly with no warning. Cherry Tree Pet Crematorium really helped ease that pain with their professionalism and obvious care with the way they handled his cremation at a moments notice. Thank you so much.Gill Bignall Sammy was part of our lives for 21 years. We spent two months of constant care nursing him 24 hours a day. On Tuesday 4th April he held on all day until his mummy got home from work; she picked him up to cuddle him and he went to sleep a few minutes later in the warmth and safety of her arms. Loving Sammy so much it was important that we were able to give him a proper and respectful cremation and bring his ashes home to be with us. The care and understanding we received were exceptional and we felt total confidence in leaving our dear friend in safe hands until we returned two hours later to collect him. The experience of losing such a dear companion is always going to he heartbreaking but the wonderful service we received here helped so much and we would recommend Cherry Tree without hesitation. It is hoped, though, that we do not need to return for a very long time.

We have been totally devastated with the sudden loss of our beautiful cat Dylan. He was killed in a second which he didn’t deserve. Thank you for being there and giving him the dignity he deserved. We feel comforted that Dylan is back at home where he belongs and that his ashes will be in our garden where he so loved exploring.
Thank you so very much from all of us.The Garman Family
On Sunday we made the heartbreaking decision to put our lovely little boxer Murphy to sleep. We were lucky enough to choose Cherry Tree as the place to give Murphy the dignified cremation he so deserved.I truly cannot fault the service they provide carried out with such compassion. At such sad and desperate times give your pet the send off they deserve choose Cherry Tree thank you so much from Murphy ‘s Mum and Dad xMark Strevett We would like to thank you for making what was a very traumatic day when we lost our beloved Keats less upsetting.
Your reception area was very calm and tranquil where we were able to say goodbye with all the time we needed.
Mark was caring and treated Keats with the greatest respect and for that we are very great full, we will absolutely recommend you without question.

Can’t thank Cherry Tree Pet Crematorium enough for their compassion, sympathy and empathy in our hour of despair. Mark, especially, gave us the reassurance that our beloved cocker spaniel, Indi, would be treat with the utmost care and respect. We would definitely recommend their services.Robert and Elaine Gould
David and I just wanted to write and say thank you for taking care of our beloved Sooty last Wednesday.
We are totally bereft now that she is gone. The suddenness of her illness, finding out on Monday that she was seriously ill and having to make the difficult decision on Tuesday morning to put her to sleep was awful. I contacted Cherry Tree Tuesday morning, not long after making the decision to do this and spoke to Mark.
Mark was wonderful and patient in dealing with me at a difficult time. My husband and I wanted to give Sooty the send off she deserved as she was a dear, loved family member. Mark arranged everything and treated both us and Sooty with the upmost dignity and respect.
Mark arranged for Sooty to be collected from our vets and placed her in a lovely basket with blanket over her, so we could see her when we came on Wednesday. Being able to spend some time with Sooty was greatly appreciated and has helped us tremendously.
We will always miss her, always, but having her ashes close by in the sleeping cat statue is a fitting tribute, and a comfort.
Thank you for letting us see Sooty again and for treating her with such dignity and respect.
We were very happy with the service provided. Please pass on our thanks to Mark. It is nice to know of Cherry Tree. We will come back when the time comes for her brother to join her. I am recommending Cherry Tree to our friends.
If you wish to put this on your website please do, I have enclosed a picture of Sooty for this purpose.
Thank you again.

I would like to thank all the staff at Cherry Tree for their professionalism and understanding throughout whilst dealing, with what has probably been the hardest decision I have ever had to make. It has been the most heart-breaking and difficult week for me since having my Danny put to sleep but the cherry tree staff have been fantastic.
Michael was there on the day to collect Danny and he was so patient and kind and treated him with such dignity. Mark was also so kind and compassionate to me, both on the phone and when I collected Danny’s ashes.
You guys really are a god send at such a difficult time when we have to say goodbye to our beloved animals. I lost my soul mate and my best friend last week but I have comfort from knowing he was looked after like a king by you until the very end.
Thank you so much.
1st class service form enquire to hand over of ashes, nice caring people and cost not expensive, would recommended to all pet loverslaurence flack
We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Jack Russell, Rodney; he was our world. Sincere thanks to Mark and all at Cherry Tree for the very kind and respectful way they looked after Rodney at the end of his life – it was one less thing for us to worry about. Thank you again, Bev & Mark.Bev & Mark Payton
We cannot thank Cherry Tree enough for the service they provided. Mark was incredibly compassionate, understanding, and respectful.
I inquired at a few other pet crematoriums and was astonished they wanted over £250 and didn’t seem to care at all, not being able to afford such a cost we were devastated.
Then I found Cherry Tree who were MUCH more reasonable and MUCH more caring. We also liked their story, the fact it’s a family business, who obviously worked extremely hard to achieve their dream.
We’d owned our beloved cat Clyde for 16 & a half years and are heartbroken to have lost him, Mark & the service provided has helped us in our grief.
Thank you for the condolence card and the lovely plaque, it was even better than we were expecting.
We cannot recommend Cherry Tree highly enough.Mrs J Sheller
Dear Mark and all the team behind the scenes at Cherry Tree,
Thank you for taking such good care of my darling Monty yesterday, 11th October. I will always be grateful for your kindness and professionalism on the hardest day.
He was a beautiful, vibrant and smiley dog who will be sorely missed but I feel better knowing he had the care that he deserved.
I have attached some photos of Monty during happy times, I will try and remember him like this.
Kindest regards and best wishes to you all from Abbi Wells and family.
Thank you for the beautiful casket to celebrate the life of Bluey, recommended by Cinque Port Vets at Tenterden.
This little cat taught me much about love and gratitude. He passed away in peace and with dignity, a beautiful casket and unexpected card.Jayne Telfer
I would just like to say a massive thank you to the services and team at cherry tree I have had the misfortune of having to come to cherry tree three times in the last few years and every time I have been greeted by a warm and welcoming member of staff most recently I lost my beloved bull terrier X spot at the ripe old age of 16 it had been unplanned and I had needed them at the last minuet to which they had no problems with I have nothing but kind words to say about the service and I am grateful that in my time of need the team at cherry tree dealt with me in a calm and compassionate mannor I felt no need to hide my tears and grief and I knew that when I said my last goodbye they would treat him with the kindness and respect he deserved
Thank you cherry treeLouise knight-coney
Just wanted to say a big thank you to mark and the team who looked after us today during such a very sad time after the sudden death of our much loved Cookie. From the moment we made the phone call at 8am this morning until we collected her ashes later that day mark made sure everything went smoothly.
We cannot thank your team enough, five star service and will definitely recommend to every oneRussell & Samantha Webster
A huge thank you to you all for making a massive happening so much easier to deal with. The chap who came to collect my beloved horse Ish whose passing has left me heartbroken, was so compassionate and I was told the whole process was dealt with with great dignity. (I hid round the corner). I was pleasantly surprised when I got his ashes back in a beautiful oak casket with a gold name plate, and a lovely sympathy card to boot. I cannot recommend you highly enough.
To all at Cherry Trees
I would just like to say thank you for looking after our dog Bud on his final journey and returning him to us in the beautiful oak frame, it’s good to think he’s back home. Thank you also for liaising with Fern cottage our vets in Sittingbourne, it really helped to make a difficult situation more bearable.
Bud was part of our family for 161/2 years and although there is now a space in our family he has left behind many happy memories.
Thank you once againAlison Alexander and family
I just wanted to follow up our previous e-mails to say “thank you” for the sensitive way you handled my enquiries at such a distressing time and an even bigger “thank you” for the respectful and dignified way in which my beloved Sydney was returned to me. The words in the card we received from yourselves inevitably made us bawl our eyes out, but they were so poignant and comforting to read.
Whilst I’m sure your job can not be an easy one at times, it must be so lovely for you to know that you are able to bring some reassurance and comfort to people at such times.
Please could you pass on my warmest thanks to the gentleman (sorry I didn’t get his name) who came to our yard yesterday at Baldwins Oast, to collect our beloved pony Danny after he was put to sleep at the grand age of 31.
He was made the whole process so stress free, and Danny was treated with total dignity. I didn’t feel at all rushed and he allowed us to leave the yard whilst he dealt with everything. Leaving the yard and paddock tidy and calm. He asked all about Danny’s life and showed so much compassion. He really was an absolute star and a real credit to your business.
Also a huge thanks to the gentleman who took my original call to book everything, he was so patient and kind and listened through my sobbing! He explained everything and all of the options available.
Thank you Cherry Tree for making an incredibly difficult day as stress free and calm as possible. Your company has shown the utmost compassion at a very difficult time.
With many thanks

She became ill with a womb infection and before we knew she had to be put to sleep on the 30/06/16.. We called Cherry Tree on returning from the vets and they dealt with Molly that day.
We were met by Roger and he helped us through this painful time. We are extremely greatful for Cherry Tree’s services, we could have gone closer to home but they were recommended to us.

A few days ago (13/05/16) we lost our most loyal, loving friend and companion, Our beautiful doggy Tia.
This was the saddest day in our lives, she was everything to us and she will be forever in our hearts.
We searched literally everywhere and carefully considered what we then had to do with our most precious girl. Thankfully we found Mark at David Funnells Cherry Tree. I cannot thank Mark and his team enough for looking after Tia. The service they provide is absolutely first class and I can assure anyone reading this, you will not find anywhere that will give your cherished pet a more loving, caring and dignified final farewell.
Sadly we will never see our girl again but we have ‘her’ ashes and they will one day be reunited with ours, when that day comes,
Thank you so much Mark, David and all your staff.Paul Rain
I would like to thank David very much for his kindness that he showed to my family and Jake our precious dog at such a distressing time. David made a very emotional time more bearable and really understands what losing a beloved dog means. He treated Jake with dignity and respect and didnt rush us at all. We were able to spend as much time with Jake as we wanted there before we left. Thank you David x

I cannot thank Cherry Tree enough. The service they provided was first class. When our beloved Elsa fell asleep they responded very quickly. They showed genuine sensitivity at a very traumatic time. We always wanted the best for our Elsa and she deserved the best and thankfully in chooseing Cherry Tree she got the best and for that we will always be grateful. Would I recommend Cherry Tree? IN A HEARTBEAT.Mr A HALL
I can’t thank Mark and the team at Cherry Tree enough for the way in which he looked after my dogs Bertie and Millie who I lost on 28th Jan and 23rd Feb this year. It was a shock to lose not one but both of my precious friends within a month. Mark arranged a special trip to Whitstable to collect both of them within a few hours of losing them and it meant so much to know they were both being looked after so promptly and not having to spend time in a place they hated so much, the vets. After I’d been to Cherry Tree to collect Bertie, I didn’t hesitate to let the vets contact Mark once again and make the arrangements for Millie, Cherry Tree also returned Millie to Whitstable for me in less than 48 hours, saving me making another very upsetting trip. I cannot recommend Cherry Tree enough, they were recommended to me by a friend and I would urge anyone who wants a first class service for their pet when that horrible time comes, to give these lovely people a call. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you Cherry Tree for making an awful time so much easier.Kate Twyman
We have used Cherry Tree on 3 occasions. They are always so kind, supportive and completely understand that our pets are family. I cannot recommend them more highly, wouldn’t use anyone else for any we lose in the future.Lindsay Turner
As a family we have had all of our animals cremated at cherry tree and we have been pleased every time. Everyone who works there is so supportive and understanding. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!Kerrie Alexander
Very tragically this week, I had to say goodbye to my beloved horse Charlie, at just 11 years old which was utterly devasting for me. I cannot thank Cherry Tree Farm enough for treating Charlie with respect, dignity, care and professionalism. The whole experience was so caring all the staff showed understanding and genuine empathy for my feelings and wishes. I cannot recommend them highly enough or put into words that can describe how caring they are. I have chosen a photo with a little poo in it because he always liked to leave me a present to clear up just when I thought I had finished. I love him and miss him so much but he is free of pain and with me in spirit always.Annette Gilbert
I would like to thank The Funnell Family for the care, compassion and respect they have shown me on two occasions now. The first time was with my horse Drifter and much more recently with my beautiful dog Maisy, my beloved animals were both collected from me and both times we were treated with such empathy and dignity, and such care. I would recommend Cherry Tree Pet Cremations to every animal owner at the most difficult time we all have to face. Massive thank you for caring and showing you really do care.Jacqueline
Thank you so much for your compassionate care when we lost our beautiful Tia. You provided a first class dignified service following the loss of our treasured girl. It has made me feel so much better having Tia’s ashes, I feel like she is back home with us.Paula Hutchison
We would like to say thank you so much for the time and compassion that you gave us during our time of extreme loss and sadness. You made the last journey of our beloved boy more peaceful and less painful as this process can be. We left knowing that our boy would be treated with dignity and respect. Thank you one last time , and it is lovely to be able to have him back with us in a beautiful heart shaped momento.Wayne, Anna and jack Eade

So much love and care was given to Shogun and Shadow, also Sprinkle our foal . We would highly recommend Cherry tree to anyone who wants their pet to be treated with love and dignity at the end of their life. RIP to our lovely horses xxxSUE MILLER
Sadly our precious cat Reggie dies in our arms on 20th July 2015. This was so traumatic for us even though he was 15.5 years old. He was such a lovable cuddly snugly boy who would sleep next to my husband nightly. At times he would ensure he got in bed before me next to his dad. I was often perched on the edge of the bed.. He would always greet you with a chirp and a meow if you paid no attention. He would snore and groan during the night. He was always there. His litter mate Ronnie would have a daily wash off Reg whether he needed it or not. Reg would do a little dance in the litter tray and then have a mad half hour if he had a poo. No matter how many times we brushed him he would got straight out an roll in the dust.
Reggie was such a big part of our life and gave us unconditional love and when the sad times came he was there right by our side. We love you Reggie and only the best send off was to be good enough for you. We was given the cherry tree number by our vet and we was allowed one last night with him before we took his body to cherry tree. We was treated as the grieving parents we are, the hardest, thing was leaving him there and driving away. The quaulity of the memorials we could choose from was wonderful . We have opted for a necklace for me, a ring with Reggie’s ashes for Derek . We also have a photo frame with the rest of his ashes. Thank you cherry tree for your sensitive approach and the after care you gave our lovely irreplaceable Reggie.Janet and Derek Willis
On the 23rd July 2015 we lost our amazing Dobermann Pandy, who was 12 . She was unique in every way, our shadow. No words can but into context out grief at this time. But at the end of her life journey is Cherry tree. Our last gift to our girl. We first went to Cherry tree in 2007 by recommendation, on the loss of our beloved Dobermann Elsa, and three weeks later with the loss of Elsa sister Gabby. Cherry tree is over 80 mile journey for us, and yes we know there is a closer facility. Cherry tree treat you and your pet with respect, kindness and understanding. They give you all the time in the world to say goodbye to your faithful friend in the privacy of their beautiful chapel of rest, with fresh flowers and soothing soft music. What more can I say, I have every confidence in Cherry Tree, I would go as far as to say, Cherry Tree give a service, in my eyes far better than I have received from Undertakers. Without a doubt, when my remaining Dobermann go, it will be Cherry tree. Thank you Cherry Tree, for all your help, understanding and dedication.Theresa Foord
We had not envisaged being back here just a few short weeks after coming to Cherry Tree with our darling boy Aspen on May 2nd this year. Yet, here we were, having to come back with our second rescue dog Akira. We had her from a rescue centre after Aspen passed away and had hoped that she would be with us for a fair few years. Sadly it was not to be and after we had to have her sent to sleep after two failed hip operations we found ourselves contacting Cherry Tree. We knew they would make this very difficult time a little more bearable. Michael met us in the afternoon of Saturday 4 July last and took our sweet girl into the chapel of rest where she lay in peace until Monday 6th July when she was cremated. We met Mark again and as he had laid Aspen to rest, so he did the same with Akira. We could not believe we were back again so soon and especially as Akira was just five years old. She had been with us for six short weeks before her condition became apparent. We loved her as if we had had her for years and we were blessed to have had this sweet, funny, beautiful big hearted girl in our lives. Mark is very caring and compassionate as is Michael. They never do anything but make the incredible pain of loss a little easier to bear, they are wonderful people and we know our darling boy and girl were in safe, gentle hands. Thank you so muchClaire and Nick
In the early hours of Wednesday 13th May my partner and I sadly had to kiss goodnight and say our final & devastating farewells to our adorable happy and friendly English Bull Terrier of 10 years ‘Bertie’. Bertie had reached the grand old age of 16 but his advancing old age and all its associated problems were becoming too much for him to cope with, and we had reached a stage where it just did not feel fair to let him carry on. We feel so lucky and blessed to have known him and have him be such a big part of our life and that he was able to stay with us for so long, even though we are now devastated that he is no longer with us and we miss him terribly.
We would both like to thank Mark in particular but all at Cherry Tree for making Bertie’s final journey bearable for us and for treating him with the dignity and respect that we so wanted for him. We are also very grateful for the respect and sensitivity shown towards us during what was a very sad and upsetting event.Beverley Smith
We lost our cat Tilly after 18 wonderful years and to say we were devastated is an understatement. Our vet Pierson Stewart were wonderful and when we said we wanted Cherry Trees to collect Tilly from them they dealt with it all. We were so well looked after when we went to collect Tilly’s ashes and the sympathy card with a beautiful poem was such a nice touch. Tilly is now at rest in the garden with her predecessor Tigger who also got to 18. We are so grateful to Cherry Trees who made a traumatic experience just about bearable. Thank you.Helen Harvey
Mark met us at the Creamtorium on Saturday as we had to bring our darling boy Aspen in after he had had to be sent across the rainbow bridge on Saturday 2nd May. It was a complete shock and we were bereft. Our lovely vet arranged for us to take Aspen to Cherry Tree, a place we had not heard of and the first time we had to have a pet cremated. We didn’t know we could bring in his favourite toys, in Aspen’s case a beat up manky old blue rubber bone, but we were not able to find it until after Aspen had been cremated anyway, I think he hid it in our little rockery. That was Aspen, a sweet border collie with a beautiful big loving heart. Mark and the team at Cherry Tree are Angels in disguise, they must be. They ease the suffering of us owners when the road we have travelled with our companions has come to a sudden end. I am thankful that Aspen was in such good hands, he was treated with such calm and respect, it made saying goodbye a little bit easier. Thank you so much Mark.Claire and Nick
we cannot thank you enough for your help from our first e-mail and your kind reply to the sudden passing of our dearest friend Berty on may bank holiday, your help that day made our loss a little more beareable, it was lovely to be able to say goodbye to him in the private room and to know he was left in good hands, thank you once again.Dennis and Valerie
I would like to say a very big thank you to michael who came out to our pony out of hours from the moment he set foot on the yard we felt at ease he explained what was going to happen to moon he didn’t rush us he took his time and moon was completely calm he made those last moment for us a happy time to remember thank youMrs a goff
We had to have our beautiful girl Molly put to sleep on Wednesday 8th April after 16 years together….devastated doesn’t come close! We would just like to thank you Cherry Tree for your care & compassion through our loss, from my phone call to you from my vets to when we picked Molly Up the next day to bring her home. You made a very very difficult day just that little bit easier to bear…. Thank-you again. We would highly recommend you to anyone going through this very sad time.Jessica charik
I just want to Thank David and everyone at Cherry Tree for taking the time to make a sad time as bearable as possible. What David did for me and my Little Millie was above and beyond all expectations ,so now she’s not only with her best friend there she’s with him here too.
So when the sad time comes for that decision I can assure you they will make a little bit easier.
Thank You David xxMary Vivier
We have not used a cremation service before as have buried the pets we lost in the garden. For various reasons, we decided upon cremation for Topaz and Cherry Tree was recommended to us . From the initial contact we felt reassured and respected and whilst certain functions have to obviously be completed by the service , we were able to take her there ourselves, say our goodbyes in the way that we wished and also place some small, special and precious objects with her. We chose to spend some time locally and bring her back home the same day, so that she was back with us. Loosing a friend is never easy, but the kindness and caring shown is never forgotten. We totally recommend the service and thank them for making a very difficult day, that little bit easier.Heather and Phil
My wife and I collected our dog’s ashes today. Mitsu had to be put to sleep on Friday as her health was failing. Loving and faithful to the end, she was slipping from us after a wonderful thirteen years together. Cherry Tree collected her from the vet and took her back to be cremated. This was done swiftly, courteously and with professionalism. Mitsu could not have been in better hands. She is back where she belongs now.Janet and David Lloyd
In 2011 i lost my best friend in the whole world and Cherry Tree gave me comfort during my last goodbye, within 2 hours felicity was being cremated and came home with me a couple of hours later,3 years later i lost her brother muffin my other best friend and he got exactly the same treatment and treated like a prince on his final journey! I an eternally grateful for such a smooth service received for my special fur babies and they are together now.Every day i talk to them in their special engraved boxes.thank you cherry tree my world was pulled apart when i lost my babies and you have helped soo muchMichele Ellis
I just wanted to thank David and the team at Cherry Tree for the compassion you showed when you picked Beobee up this week from our home, little did we think we would need your services so soon after losing Elle last year. They were both such big dogs in size and personality, always together in life and now together again. Getting Beobee back home in just a few hours was such a comfort. The pendant with his ashes in is beautiful and makes me feel so close to him. Thank you.Kay Friend
I came to you today with my poor little Kitty. We have been together for 16 years and I don’t know how I’ll adjust to life without her. I’m not one for saying much at the time, trying to mask my feelings with a polite smile. But I can tell you now that I was really struggling to say goodbye and to let go. Thank you for treating me gently and kindly and for making such a painful duty run so smoothly. And thank you for the card you gave, the lovely poem makes me cry and smile every time I read it. I’ll never get used to not having her waiting excitedly behind the door every time I come home, or her squeaky fan belt purr as she kneaded my knees, but at least she was treated with every care in her final moments. Thank you again.Laura
A special thank-you to David and all his team at Cherry Tree for the help and sympathy they showed me after losing my dog Twiggy. The loss of any pet is always a time of great sadness but to be received with such kind attitude and compassion helps a lot when you are at such a low ebb. It is so refreshing to find someone who has the same feelings as the owners towards any loved pet they receive.
Our sudden loss of Lady led us to David, who showed us nothing but kindness and compassion. He alleviated all our worries and fears. Showing Lady the respect and dignity she deserved. We would highly recommend the Cherry Tree Pet Crematorium. Thankyou David for making this difficult time a little easier. LynnLynn
I lost my beautiful Alfie far to soon due to heart disease. I received him back in a beautiful box with his name engraved on it and a sympathy card. I would like to thank all at Cherry Tree for their kindness. Michaela xMichaela
A huge thank you to David and the team, upon the death of all of our working police dogs , David and his team provided a service that is exceptional. These dogs were not pets they were partners and life savers. Many police officers would never have gone home if it was not for the bravery of these dogs. The way that Cherry Tree treated them all with love and respect even in death helped not only the grieving process for their handler but also the rest of the family. I thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Jane xJane and Rob Pearman
We have used David Funnells pet cremation service for several years.
We have owned a livery yard and riding school for 20yrs and used the service on several occasions for both our horses and our dogs.
David has a purpose built room at his property, were you can view a varying amount of caskets and containers, while deciding what is most suitable for your pet.
David’s manner is always kind, patient and professional.
He has patiently listened to the life story’s of all our deceased animals, and sat with us while we have shed oceans of tears.
David and the cremation service he provides, is very much part of our grieving process, he is the last piece of the jigsaw in our animals life and subsequent death.
We will always be very grateful for all the support David has given to us.
We highly recommend Cherry Trees Pet Crematorium.

We lost our Jack Russell JJ after 16 years in May 2014 and we would like to thank Cherry Tree for making the loss of our beloved JJ more bearable, I would and have highly recommended your services to friends. JJ was treated with the up most respect and we were able to say goodbye in a very dignified way, our pets are such a huge part of our lives and are family, so its only right that they are treated with the respect they deserve. We love our photo frame, we can look at JJ’s photo and now that he is in the room with us. RIP little ginger prince we miss you every dayMr & Mrs Ward
I have always been very impressed by Cherry Tree. We lost our 13 year old dog Iffy on the 2nd of October. I have past visited Cherry Tree with my ferrets and bunnies but I just couldn’t with Iffy. We are pleased that you were able to collect her from the vets. She is back home with us today. Thank you David and all at Cherry Tree xMrs K

Thank you for the care and deep sensitivity you showed us when we cremated our cat Nero on 15th. It was the hardest day of my life knowing I’d never see him again and I was trying to compose myself as much as possible to be able to do this as dignified as possible but you made it easier to say goodbye, despite our grief. The B Family
Mark I want to say how grateful I am that you took care of our much loved Ronnie dog. The grief at his loss was overwhelming and I was worried that the day would be unbearable and was unsure whether I would be strong enough to see him to say goodbye. I am deeply thankful for your care and kindness and your gentle approach. Our beautiful Ronnie looked so peaceful and at rest it eased some of the pain and trauma of these last days. You looked after him and us with the greatest respect and compassion. I am so glad the hospital recommended you. He is home with us now where he belongs. Thank youMrs H
David – It was hard to talk to you about Basil, our beloved Bassett Hound when we picked him up, and it was difficult to express just how much we appreciated how well you looked after him and how much we appreciated the care and attention to detail you showed throughout this very difficult time. Basil was over 15 years old when he left us, and the void he has left is enormous, we are comforted by our remaining dogs, Boris and Misty who you met when we came to pick Basil up. They help to comfort us at this time, as did you. The Picture frame casket that Basil now resides in is absolutely wonderful and now has pride of place in our sitting room, he’s back where he belongs with his pack.
We cannot begin to thank you enough for your care and compassion. We felt that we were dealing with a friend, and everything we needed you gave without question. It’s the hardest of times when one looses a cherished friend and companion, and the service you offered made the whole process easier to deal with.
We cannot express how much you helped us, and if anyone is reading this, wondering if they should bring their treasured friend on his or her final journey to your wonderful site, I can only say that they will never find a better place say goodbye.
From the bottom of out hearts, thank you
I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am to you for your kindness in the loss of our dear old pony, Socks. Firstly may I say how impressed I was with the way the gentleman who came out to us dealt with the situation.
Never a pleasant experience for anyone, but he managed to make it as comfortable for us as I’m sure he could. Secondly, I was not sure what to expect when waiting for Socks’ ashes back; a large cardboard box, I imagined. When I saw the casket, David, and her shoes all beautifully cleaned, I just cried. It is absolutely beautiful, thank you so much. I have four children, who were all very close to Socks and they were delighted. It was so nice for them to receive something as lovely as this back and it really does help with the pain. She has taken pride of place in the lounge & it just feels like she is with us. I was dreading the day that we had to say goodbye to Socks, not only because of the loss and pain, but also because I did not think that I would be able to afford to have Socks cremated, let alone have her ashes back. You have made this possible David and I cannot begin to tall you how very grateful I am to you (and of course to my good friend David Weir). I will certainly recommend your services to my many horsey friends, when their times come.T Ward
After the sudden loss of my beautiful horse and dear friend Kengis. David and his team acted with kindness and compassion. They arrived at the yard quickly after the vet had left and gave me all the time I needed to say goodbye. Kengis was treated with care and consideration. I got “the call” 2 days later to tell me he was ready fro collection. They had delivered him to my Vets as it was nearer for me. After I collected him they very kindly agreed to make some scatter tubes for me. So my parents took the ashes back and they made a few tubes for me. My parents were very impressed with the Cherry Tree site and said everyone was lovely. I now had my casket and scatter ashes I could take back to Exmoor where he came from. So thank you for going the extra mile during a hard time.Mrs T
I first met David when I lost my beloved cat Sake in 2011 he had turned 18 and suddenly had a stroke and I had to have him put to sleep. My vet recommended David and he was kindness itself. I went again in 2013 when his sister Sushi died aged 20. To be allowed to spend as much time saying goodbye was very important. Thank you for your professionalism, empathy and understandingMr & Mrs S
I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Mark and the team for the way they dealt with Pixie yesterday. Caring thoughtful and 100% professional. She looked at peace when we left her and we felt totally happy that she was being cared for until we came to bring her home. The poem in the card is beautiful and made us both cry!! Thank you from the three of us…Mr & Mrs P
